EXECUTIVE GROWTH LEADER

Twenty-two years at New Balance taught me that strategy only creates value when someone can translate it into action. As General Manager of Key Accounts, I was responsible for a $400M+ wholesale and digital business, turning broader strategy into the specific commercial moves our channels and customers needed.

I learned to stay close to the customer, the consumer, the product, the competition, and the numbers because that's where the real gaps and opportunities become visible. During that time, the business delivered approximately 9% revenue CAGR and improved margin by 200 basis points. In the Family Channel, our brand rank moved from #7 to #4.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Ahead of my 50th birthday, I began looking differently at what I wanted my next chapter to hold. Not because the work was finished, but because I was ready to be intentional about what came next.

WHAT SHAPED THE LEADER

I was born without most of my right hand, and for years I learned ways to hide it. Over time, achievement became another way of making sure people saw what I could do before they saw what made me different.

That experience shaped more than how I saw myself. It shaped the way I learned to lead, look beyond what's immediately visible, stay curious about what's underneath, and recognize that what someone is managing may also hold part of their edge.

That lens sits at the heart of The Hidden Hand Movement, my body of work exploring what high achievers learn to hide, manage, or overcome on the way to success and what becomes possible when they begin to own it.
